Megan McBride joined Asher & Company, Ltd.’s Accounting and Auditing Department in 2000. Megan’s prior career accomplishments include experience as a staff auditor and investments accountant for a large commercial bank and a contract accountant for a large medical firm. Megan plans and performs audits, compilations, and review engagements for a variety of clients, including not-for-profit organizations, financial service companies, employee benefit plans, and manufacturing organizations. Megan’s non-profit experience includes audits in accordance with OMB A-133, Government Auditing Standards, the City of Philadelphia Subrecipient Audit Guide, and GAAP. Megan’s not-for-profit clients include Citizen’s Acting Together Can Help and Crisis Management Services, Inc. She has demonstrated an understanding of policies affecting funding. In addition to her role as an accountant and auditor, Megan mentors the firm’s younger professionals and conducts seminars in conjunction with the Firm’s Continuing Professional Education program as well as the Asher Non-Profit and Tax-Exempt Services breakfast seminar series.
