Sonia J. Stamm


Principal, The Stamm Consultancy

Ms. Stamm brings twenty years of experience in management consulting, leadership development, and training within the nonprofit, service, and technology arenas.  Committed to supporting the evolution of mission-based organizations, Sonia has worked with a wide range of nonprofit and entrepreneurial enterprises in the areas of governance, leadership transition and succession, and organizational effectiveness.  In 2008, she established The Stamm Consultancy to help nonprofits build more cohesive organizations.  Through her firm, Sonia has guided organizations through critical junctures in their development. 

Since 2001, Sonia has been affiliated with The Nonprofit Center at La Salle University, a management support organization for nonprofits in the Greater Philadelphia region, as a consultant and trainer.  Sonia also serves as an E-governance Consultant with BoardEffect®, a comprehensive, web-based portal for nonprofit boards. 

Sonia previously was Senior Consultant at CEO Resources, Inc., a retained executive search firm specializing in recruiting leadership for growing service and technology-based companies.  Early in her career, Sonia held staff position at Ben Franklin Technology Partners and Womens Way.  She has served as a director of several nonprofit boards, including Options, Inc., and Women Organized Against Rape.

Sonia earned a M.Ed. in adult and organizational development from Temple University and a B.S. in communications technology from Ithaca College.  She also holds a certificate in Nonprofit Board Leadership from The Nonprofit Center at La Salle University’s School of Business.
